My stress levels are way down. I've been through a lot of change lately and can't committ it 100% to quitting but hey if I believe it then it gives me 1 more reason to stay quit.
I think it's because your body is free of yucky chemicals that our blood pressure becomes normal, etc and you feel less stressed overall.
I'm loving being a non smoker, stress or no stress!
You are doing great Anxious1

Thanks Lizzie, I will and do believe you, I can already tell that I handle things differently. Like, I actually handle them, instead of running away to have a cig instead. I am taking care of things in my life as they happen, instead of delaying it because I had to smoke..its not always easy, but its what I CHOOSE to do. ;)

Well let me tell you that when you are through this addiction, you will be able to handle more stress than you do now. Honest.
Be patient with yourself for now. The rewards lie ahead.
Lizzie :)

Sorry to hear that you didn't get the position (which sounded pretty stressful to begin with) but congrats on not letting that ruin your quit. You are strong and determined and can so obviously do this new position or not. Glad to hear that you are not going to let something like this jeopardize your success.
It is true what they say....things happen for a reason so there must be something else out there waiting for you. Sometimes bitter trials are just blessings in disguise. Either way congrats on a fantastic quit journey.
Oh and what an idiot interviewer to say something that unintelligent. Thank goodness we know better!
Have a fantastic day!

Way to GOOOOOO Anx. Like other's said something better is coming along. The person who said that about stress... I don't even believe it. If you can handle QUITTING.... You can handle anything. maybe that person is jealous.
Give yourself a BIG hug from all of us.. and maybe you should leave the Allan Carr Book on the desk... lol
