Does anybody know if there has been any research into a possible link with hormones or menapause ? My symtoms are definately much worse during my period. I am currently on HRT although I'm not really sure that I am going through the menopause. My psychiatrist prescribed this for me earlier this year, althogh my doctor thinks this was outside her remit, and does not agree with her that I should be on HRT. I think it was prescribed largely due to my age ( I'm 48 ), rather than anything else. So has anyone read any papers or articles on a possible link with not necessarily menopause, but hormone related ?
