Kayla, did smoking change the court system, fix your car, get your daughter back, or put any money into your pocket? Did it make you less depressed or remove any stress from your life? Because, believe it or not, I have every single one of those issues in my life as well, and if smoking helps them, I'll probably start again. I'm gonna go way out on a limb here and say all that smoking did was make you feel even more depressed and stressed, and leave you less money for your car, your court battle, and your other expenses. You can stay quit for longer than a couple of months, Kayla. And you will when you want to, more than you want to smoke. Keep at it, the day will come. In the meantime, you know I'm always with the "get right back on" crowd. The longer you let the junkie have her way, the harder it is. Kayla, My prayers are with you that things get better. I know how hard it is to try and quit with a ton of stress around us. Just take it easy, come back when you are ready and be assured that we are all still going to be here to you. Don't wait too long though, it is harder to start up again if you go back to smoking full time. Wish the best for you :):) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 335 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,375 Amount Saved: $1,675.00 Life Gained: Days: 36 Hrs: 14 Mins: 37 Seconds: 28

Kayla, Okay, you relapsed, now you need to stop. Why wait until 2/9? You CAN do this. You've gone long periods without smoking and made it through some tough times. So you CAN be a non-smoker. There is no 3 Strikes and You're Out with quitting -- keep swinging that bat. You CAN and WILL do this. I haven't given up on you - don't you give up on you. Now if you said something about inappropriate behavior with Bear that would be a tough one to forgive! So, let us know how you're doing. Oh and think about how expensive it is for you to continue smoking. Is it really giving you enough stress relief to continue doing it? You may be able to quit that 2nd job sooner than later if you quit, otherwise you may need to continue working it so that you can smoke. Just something to think about.... Sorry to hear about your slip CC. You were doing so well and now you know exactly how it feels to be a non-smoker. Why are you waiting so long to get back on the wagon? It will be much harder to quit if you put it off. Just because you slipped doesn't mean you can go right back to being full time smoker again. Think about why you quit smoking in the first place and let that bring you strength to quit again...this time for good! We are all here to support you and want to see you succedd as much as you want to succedd yourself. Get right back on this nonsmoking train and give it all you got. Good luck and Take care. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/12/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 77 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,155 Amount Saved: $693.00 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 9 Mins: 9 Seconds: 54

Hey Kayla, sorry to hear you've had to go through all that. I agree with Misty, your relationship with your daughter will survive, although I know you miss her a lot right now {hug}. But, um, why, again, are you waiting for 2 weeks to stop smoking? Won't it be harder then than if you quit now? Just saying. aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 311 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 12,440 Amount Saved: $2,114.80 Life Gained: Days: 43 Hrs: 22 Mins: 8 Seconds: 10
