Hey MJ. I'm really glad to see you're back! Slips happen, but apparently they also make you stronger. I'm really happy that you are continuing with your quit, rather than putting it off and having to go through all the prep work again. Good for you. Welcome back! Sue :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/3/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 25 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 500 Amount Saved: $190.00 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 16 Mins: 54 Seconds: 34

To my fellow January Quit members; Well guys, I slipped, as some of you may know from earlier posts. And almost at the one month mark as well. I did not reset my meter the first time, because I knew that I would be facing a very tempting situation when friends came to town to visit, and knew that if I reset the meter I would most likely smoke lots as I had to start again anyway! As it happened, I did have 5 cigarettes in the three days they were here (not as many as I would have had, I am sure). They have now left town again and as of yesterday I am back to the quit. I feel bad about the relapse, but stronger in my resolve tho keep trying, and to succeed. I am leaving the money I saved in it's account, because I at least achieved that part..... :( My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/28/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 1 Mins: 35 Seconds: 33

Nope, I was wondering about that myself. How about Tubbies, Joy, M.J. and Kartemy too? Everybody still on the January quit team? Hey Sue, I had a great time! My sis and aunt have never smoked so it made it easy. I bought myself a hat???! I never wear hats, but I tried it on and the girls said I had to buy. I have to admit I don't look bad in a hat. Plus, it's suede and wool and it will keep my head warm when I'm trying to walk in this cold weather that I dislike so much! ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/21/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 6 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 150 Amount Saved: $41.25 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 12 Mins: 22 Seconds: 57

Hey Kristilu, did you guys have a great day? I went shopping with a girlfriend during the early days of my quit, we used to smoke and drink wine during lunch when we shopped....was so weird to not do that. but it is those very milestones, getting past them, that cement you in your quit. :D So what did ya buy????
