Hey Bear, I didn't know that you were watching me from that frosty stream. I know, I have had sooo many ups and downs, quitting, slipping, quitting, slipping...but all those experiences led me to where I am today..smoke free. I don't ever want to go back. thanks Martha and Mercy, Yes, I am finally nicotine free...no more NRT, no more cigs. I feel more confident as each day passes. I still cry more than ordinary, and get blue; but overall, I am much more peaceful. I think that my body is finally getting back in balance. new me, I was the same way. My mornings were full of coffee and cigarettes but I would eat lunch around 1pm. I'd push off my hunger to the last possible time though. I work differently now too. I used to let myself become consumed with whatever I was doing - only stopping for my smoke breaks. Now I try to listen to my body more and giving it what it needs when it needs it. Congrats on those 209 Days and being nicotine free! It's wonderful, isn't it?
