I'm so happy for you, Danno! You sound just wonderful. I love the positive, happy vibe you give off. It must be catching. How great is it that your sister and neighbor have caught the quitting bug from you. I'd bet it has everything to do with that attitude of yours. You rock! Hello again all! Thanks for the messages mylast, Starrider, kelly and everyone else. Makes a world of difference to sign in here and see the support! End of day 4 for me. Had one craving today, but that was it. Just got busy to get my mind off of it. GO ME!! LOL! {I still think my military training has helped in my quit.} My neighbor has decided that since I quit, she will also. Today was her quit day. She came with me on my daily walk this time! My sister is also planning her quit. WooHoo! She's 5 years older than myself, but also started smoking later than I. I could tell she's been keeping a pretty close eye on me since my quit. Guess she was trying to see how i was doing with it. LOL. Be glad when she takes the step! Hope everyone's day has been great! I'll check back in tomorrow with another progress report! {R they boring U guys yet? LOL!} Dan My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/17/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 240 Amount Saved: $42.60 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 14 Mins: 15 Seconds: 7

Danno, It's so nice to see your cheefrul attitude. Keep posting because it helps take your mind off of it. "Danno" is my sons nickname. His first name is Dan and last name begins with an O. Wow Danno you're sounding good! Being positive is key, enjoy the ride rather than hate it, never dwell on you know what, just say N.O.P.E. Hello gang! How is everyone doing today? Day 3 for me and I'm going strong. Just had a lunch of steamed veggies with cheese. I don't think I told you guys that when I was deciding to quit I was going to use Chantix. Remember? Well, I decided to not use anything but this site. So far it is going great!! Go me!! LOL! Had a few craves, but nothing major. I just told myself, "Why are you thinking about cigarettes? You don't even smoke!" They would soon pass. Today I'm starting to wonder why I thought I couldn't get along without them. The farther along I get, I'm beginning to realize just HOW much the old Nic-Demon had me. I mean I knew I was hooked, just not the extent. But NOT anymore! Sorry to ramble! Just seeing it in type. LOL! Hope everyones day is going great! Hey everyone! Hope all are doing well today? Day two for me, and still going strong. Got the repairs all lined out and even got to start on my painting...a Castle. Little bit of a headache today. Think I will fix me some coffee. Little later i'm going to have one of my fruit shakes. REALLY good! I cut up a bunch of different fruits, put it in a blender, add some apple juice, blend it all together, and viola! Really good, and good for you as well! I'll check in later with the evening update! LOL! Dan :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/17/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 60 Amount Saved: $10.65 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 5 Mins: 55 Seconds: 41
