You can do it Cat! You are accomplishing something your friends are not..be proud of that! There must be at least one of them who will be your Quit Guardian..someone who will not let you smoke if you go to them.
Have fun!!!!!

Cat, the best advise I can give you is to really take it easy on the drinks. If you're mind is clear you will succeed because you won't forget what you want. But if you drink too much, the risk is too great! :)

Great advice everyone!
Hold strong and use those coping mechanisms to keep you busy!
Walk away if needed and we will be here to cheer you on!

Cat, you have to stay alert this weekend. It's gonna be hard because you are young in your quit and temptations will be all around you. So you have to load up extra ammo, extra arrows in your quiver. Make a list of coping tools. If you start feeling weak, walk away. See if you can find someone who is a non-smoker and enlist their help. I would also caution you, if this is a drinking occasion, to watch your drinking. Many quits have been lost with lowered inhibitions.
But everyone is right. You can do this. You have done it and you can continue. We all have faith in your strength.
Rusty :)

Cat,
You can do this you already have gone through the two worst weeks. I for some odd reason seem to draw strenght when I am around smokers. I think it is that I am so proud of myself and happy that I am smoke free it gives me the opportunity to pat myself on the back.
Stay strong and have fun :)
