Peanut gallery checking in here! Jan, we have movies & popcorn at the treehouse if that's what you want! Just like you, Sue, reading & exercise were the boredom cures for me. You're right, Jan, it is temporary, it is normal, it will pass & you will still be quit when it does! Hang in, you lookk great! Jan, I read an Authors entire back list - maybe 50 books? I occupied myself finding them in used book stores, one day John drove me to 3 stores. I relish and savor the time I have now, I fill that time with positive healthy activities. (hush to the peanut gallery, I am being serious now!! ;p) This will pass Jan and you will be feeling GREAT and ready to go. Jan, No need to be bored just hop on over to the party for Unhooked. Now on the more realistic view there ain't nothing wrong with a good movie and some popcorn. I think the first month I quit I watched every movie on Lifetime twice. Now I don't know if those Beagles of yours are allowed on the bed or furniture but if they are grab them the popcorn a glass of wine or soda and let the night roll on. Nothing better than furry friends who love us no matter what. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 153 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,060 Amount Saved: $994.50 Life Gained: Days: 21 Hrs: 16 Mins: 21 Seconds: 8

that nasty withdrawal symptom called...BOREDOM! That's the point I'm at right now. No matter what I'm doing, its just plain old boring. Luckily, I know this is temporary. I also know its linked to our "reward" centre in the brain. So for now, I'll live out the boredom and recognize it for what it is...a symptom felt by a recovering nicotine addict...ME! Maybe I'll go enjoy my boredom with a good movie...and some popcorn! Hey, popcorn and movie is at my house tonight!!!!!! Cheers, A VERY bored Jan :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/15/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 6 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 180 Amount Saved: $51.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 18 Mins: 20 Seconds: 2
