iqon here yes a chatroom would be great,it would be a comfort to all sufferes to know that there would be someone there 24/7 for total support. just letting you know I'm all for it.

I think a chat room is a good idea too. I do agree with Melanie that discussions may lead to things that dont' pertain to anxiety/panic. But i think the msn idea is good. We can talk to whoever we want individually! that way, we can get help right away! Good idea sammi!

Sami, Have you tried our CBT Buddies IM? Our instant messenger allows you to anonymously communicate with others who have registered for the Panic Program. The Buddies IM also allows you to share tips and advice on how to succeed with exposure work and other program elements. Hello, I agree with the rest about the chat room; I think having that would be very comforting and nice. The only issue might be moderators (someone to regulate the chat). I donno tho, I think people on here are rather mature. By that, I think if there was to be a chat... it should only be available to registered users. I belong to another site, which contains a chat room. The site is mainly focused on teenagers and they're personal problems. I know of a few people there who are dealing with anxieties, but not many. Let me know if you want the site name.

HI, I'm also a new member I just have started the Panic Program hope it works! this is a really nice website, although I agree that we should have a Chat Room so we have somebody to talk with specially in those times when we feel talking with someboy or sharing the same experience, I have tried many times to find a chat room but I haven't found anything yet. I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this kind of feelings I want to try. Janeht

hello my name is Sara iam 16 years old and i have anxiety attacks and when i do (this is horrible) but i worry of gettin diarreah and i also think i need toilet and i cant go any where if i don't know there are toilets there and it is ruining my life. this has been happening since thistime last year at my friends sleepover and i (messed my pants) i know that is horriblebut ikeep felling like i need a toilet i do take diareah pills but they don't help cus i still think i need a wee (soz) can any one help me i need help. i am going on holiday in August to spain and i dreading it cuz i don't know if there are toilets around bye bye[font=Century Gothic]Text[/font]

Having a chat room would be a great idea. We could get quicker answers to our questions - answers that would be more relevant to how we are feeling at that particular time.
