Thanks to everyone who replied to my post. It's great being an old timer(in more ways than one!!!) to be able to show that it's all so possible! Lady....you are right.....I doubted that I could get through 1 day, 10 days, 100 days, never mind 1,000. It is indeed a "GRAND DAY"!!!! Your post was wonderful!!! I enjoyed and agree with every word of it. You have shown us that a quit is possible no matter if you relapse and pull yourself together. Thanks for showing us the way. I baked you a great big cyber chocolate chip cookie, but I ate it, sorry. Keep the Quit Sparky My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/30/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 114 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,140 Amount Saved: $342.00 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 9 Mins: 13 Seconds: 30

Lolly, Your post was ther first one I read this morning and I am going to reply and walk away to do my daily duties. You are an inspiration to me. I do know this is a choice and I am learning each day to be positive about my quit and Life in general. It really is something to growup in my sixties. I used to say I grew up in the sixties but I now know that is not true. Lolly, Reading your post is a great way to start my morning. You have always been an inspiration. 1000 days is just remarkeable! To think, like the rest of us, you probably didn't think you would make it through day one. Congratulations on your freedom and the final farwell that set you free. Please continue to drop by and inspire us all. I always enjoy your posts.
