Lolo - you are right, everyone has their own quit. My last quit was my first attempt and obviously I fell. The problem was I didn't get back on track for 2 years. congrats to you for jumping back on the train! Big hugz to you this day! Isn't it ironic?????............ We quit and chose to remember what we liked about smoking......... ...........then we smoke and chose to remember what we loved about being quit. Should we laugh or cry.....haven't figured that out yet. Lolo..... your doing fine. I tell you truthfully, that I don't know now many times I tried to quit. The reality is....I wouln't be smoke free right now if I hadn't of had those other quits behind me. AND THAT'S THE TRUTH!! Everything can be a positive if you want it to be. Hi Lolo :) Honesty to yourself will keep you smoke-free and that's what u are is honest. It helps to put it all out here in a safe place to confirm your committment to yourself. I tell myself to not think about what I'm giving up (which is nothing) but to focus on what I'm getting. I'm so happy to be smoke-free today & anxious to get back to that point where I'm not thinking about it. You know how you tick, so you gotta find the best way of thinking that makes it simple 4u and you will because it's obvious u want to be smoke-free too! Keep up the good work! Just make it through today. Just breathe.......ahhhhhhh My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 80 Amount Saved: $19.20 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 10 Mins: 51 Seconds: 17

I guess it is a matter of remembering that no matter what.... a smoke isn't going to make it better. I know that it is easier said than done sometimes but once you quit even for a day you know from that point on that you can do it. Then the thought of what it was like not smoking stays in your mind instead of what it was like being a smoker. There were many reasons why we all started smoking and for as many reasons we have for why we started, we have ten times as many to stop. Take it one day at a time, One crave at a time, One thought at a time. Lolo, I tried to catch you on IM this morning but I think I just missed you. You are right, we are all human. If quitting were so easy everyone would do it and there wouldn't be a need for a support group, NRT's, or whatever else can assist a person. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 224 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,360 Amount Saved: $940.80 Life Gained: Days: 20 Hrs: 18 Mins: 44 Seconds: 13
