Martha, many congratulations to you! I always enjoy your supportive and knowledgeable posts. I certainly agree that quitting smoking frees up so much of our lives to more positive and productive activities. In 1809, General John Stark wrote, "Live free or die". I cannot think of a better way to describe my reasons for quitting in 2004. Living in bondage to a weed is not living at all. I had no idea how much of my life was tied up in smoking until I tried to walk away - I think many here would agree. For the 600+ people that are browsing this site as I write this, I can only say...DO IT! Go through the online program, study, prepare and let this site be a tool for you to get your life back. It may not be easy but it can be done. Thanks to the wisdom of the people here, the strength of my God and my loving family I look to my future with hope, determination and excitement. What a ride! All the best, Sandra aka Martha aka Baccarack aka SMOKER-NO-MO' :8|: My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/5/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 1095 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 21,900 Amount Saved: $4,927.50 Life Gained: Days: 83 Hrs: 14 Mins: 42 Seconds: 5
