Thank you so much - it's amazing how quick the time goes really - even though at the time it seems like time is standing still, it's really not... I just want to say that the very next day after my last post in this thread, the craves dropped in intensity by around a half - in other words from day 6 it got much easier and more manageable. Sure I'm still getting the cravings but they are quite mild and more like small annoying things instead of major things that interrupted everything thanks all of you for supporting me through these most difficult days - well I guess I am now officially into heck week!! ex - everbody said day 3 is bad, day 3 is bad. Not for me. Days 4 and 5 were horrible. Then it started easing up a bit. YOU ROCK - YOU CAN DO THIS! I read on the board to chant... that was my chant... I ROCK... I CAN DO THIS... I ROCK.... I CAN DO THIS (and a few curse words about nicotine that I can't mention here) but I almost screamed this inside my head all the time the first week. By the way, you do rock and you can do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks you guys - I have to say just looking at your avatars stopped me mid-crave lol - I just creased up at this stupid looking llama pokin it's head at me and this cat trying to punch me and that was that!! Thanks - yes I have a feeling this is the last stand at the battle of old nic - and he is so gonna lose - in fact as far as I am concerned he already lost - I might still have the craves going on, but I sure haven't lost any conviction!! Ex Roller, You have pissed off old nic. Just let him have it now by not giving into the selfish pig. Maybe this is just his last big attempt to get you back and things will be easier soon. Just hang tight it will be better soon. Deep breathes! You can do this! Scream, Cry, take a walk, just don't smoke!
