The dog is staying away from the site and I have to pick the pool up on Thursday after I finish up my work week.
Can't smoke if you're all wet! :p
Last year I use to swim under water two lengths of the pool (wall to wall (24 ft Above Ground)) I would like to see how I do since I quit smoking. Maybe I can make it on a third trip...
Might need to practice. I dunno. ;p

Today wasn't so bad. I hope it only gets easier from here on out.
Now all I'll have to worry about is getting up earlier to work out for an hour everyday. I'll tell ya, I am so freakin tired in the morning, like I don't wanna get up but once I hit the shower, I'm okay. Talk about draggin ass. Holy MOLY!
I went for a walk today down the road with my dog to my friend's house. Her smoke stole my breath and we were outside. It's like I can't breath around it! Just somethin about it that I can't stand. Is that weird or what?!
I ~L~U~V~ deep breathing. Man, I fill up on that fresh air, ALL the TIME too!

Well, to be honest, I really don't notice a change right now either, other than knowing I'm 7 mg less. I even stared a pack of menthol Marlboro down today that were sitting on my table an arm reach away. Not my brand but one that I would have smoked, it would have been good enough... I just stared at them, knowing I could steal one and my friend would never know it and I didn't. I was laughing at them, petting my dogs head as I turned to him telling him how much I love him.
I honestly feel that I'm breaking free from the demon.

Mama G.
Just as your fellow member mentionned, some quitters do experience a few days of adjustment that include an increase in cravings and mild withdrawal symptoms. Others do not notice a significant difference. Everyone is different!
Have your coping strategies and distraction at the ready just in case you need them.

Hey MamaG! I was on the patch. The Step down isn't so bad. Mild symptoms for 2-3 days, the usual, sleepiness, edginess and a bit of the blues! Similar to your first few days but much milder. (And that was just me - not everyone even notices a change)
So relax, have a bubble bath, take it easy and steal some 'me' time for yourself! :)

No, that is not my dog. She looks just like that though...I found that picture online. I think I will put her picture up because everyone is always asking....let me see if I can find one.
We have an inground pool and she jumps in uninvited all the time. She tries to save anyone who goes off the diving board. (Especially me because I am her favorite!!!)
She is laying beside me snoring right now, since she worked so hard today!
