500 days!

18 years ago 0 214 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi all, I have not been here in awhile, but wanted to pop in and say that today is my 500 day anniversary. The last couple months have been very stressful. My father had to go into assisted living as he is dealing with the middle stages of Alzheimers. Everyday there is something to deal with. At the same time my sister was diagnosed with cancer. She is still doing chemo and waiting to see if it will be successful. I tell you all this to let you know that no matter how stressful things get, you can deal with it without a cigarette. When things get really bad I do have a fleeting thought about smoking but I would never act on it. I know that if I were to start again I would be craving every minute of the day. I know I have control over whether or not I smoke. I am finally free of a 30 year habit. If I can do it so can you!
