Good morning everyone. I have been dreaming lately that I am back in school :8o: & writing exams. Last nights dream, I was set up to fail the exam.....Now I love to analyze everything but this has me confused. I'm thinking that these dreams are related to my quit but here's what I don't understand. I do NOT feel that anyone in my life is trying to sabotage my effort, everyone around me is super supportive (even my friends that smoke). Also I do not feel like this is a test. This is life, the way it is!!! I do not smoke & never will again. Failure is not an option. Or it could just be the patches LOL Thank you Ash kickers for helping me board the ship. You ALL provide me with such great inspiration & I'm glad we get to go on this journey together. :) Enjoy your day! 'Morning Lou.. Yes, I felt that same feeling of tiredness and it does pass. I feel tired only occasionally now. It's our bodies healing.. We put so much garbage into ourselves over many years when we smoked and now it takes time for it to heal. When tired, and when able, take naps, go to bed early and just try to rest up. :) Jean My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/4/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 49 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,225 Amount Saved: $502.25 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 12 Mins: 51 Seconds: 5

Checking in... Hope everyone is doing well. Looks as if we had 2 board the ship today. Congrats to Duck and mav for 50 days, that is awesome!!! Over the coming days many more Ashkickers will board the ship! This is awesome. Just remember us Ashkickers that will be coming in behind you... Try to save us good cabins... =) We have all come a long way and it sure makes me proud to be apart of this wonderful group! I am doing well. Still smoke free and really that is all that matters to me right now. I am still tired, but I think that has some to do with quitting and more to do with raising these kids of mine. They have all decided to push the lines to see what they can get away with this week. So, I think that has part to do with me being so tired. I haven't been posting as much the past few days, that isn't because I am not here.. that is just because I am tired. I am here... The past two days I have totally forgotten to take my Chantix... so, I think I am going to try to make a go without it. I am afraid to go back to taking it as I was becuase I haven't had it in 2 days... and I am doing really well without it.... so I am gonna see what happens.. I do promise that if things get to rough that I will start taking a low dose and work my way back up... but feel ok right now. Alrighty.... time to go back and check on the kids again. I have them cleaning up their rooms... it could take them all summer if I let it... but I plan for them to have it done by the weekend. And their rooms are awful!!! Talk to you all later, take care and keep up the good work everyone... we are on our way to boarding the ship!!! OHHH Sparky, that's awful, a sunburn is so painful. I'm a little jealous though that you had good enough weather to get one! Try a baking soda bath, it's very soothing. Just wanted to check in. Still smoke free, but sunburned really bad. Worked outside to long yesterday. I guess I got so busy with what I was doing and forgot the time. In the pass there were cig breaks. So nice not have to do that. So instead of burning cigs I burned Sparky LOL. Keep the quit, Sparky My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/30/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 21 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 210 Amount Saved: $63.00 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 21 Mins: 48 Seconds: 18

Everyone who has checked in sounds upbeat, great attitudes and a weekend filled with lots to do :) The last few days have been very good to me. Been keeping busy with some chores and such, but mostly took advantage of Saturday's gorgeous weather. Went for two long walks with music and water in my tote bag. Ended up at my favourite park, watched children play, looked out at the beautiful trees, flowers and listened to the birds singing. Total relaxation ! Today the weather was pretty chilly and very overcast so I decided to stay inside. Took a long hot shower, pampered myself totally :p I found out today that Monica had to put her cat to sleep because he was terribly ill. So I spent some time consoling her and then made sure she was relatively ok before getting on to my next plan. Pulled out 3 dvd's, made some decaf and watched them ALL ! There's one thing I've learned about going through a tough time while remaining smoke free - STAY VERY BUSY but not to the point of exhaustion... Therefore find things which make you happy and indulge yourself as often as possible. Before signing off for the evening I just wanted to say how very fortunate I am to be surrounded by such a wonderful group of Ashkickers ! Your posts lift my spirits in more ways than you'll ever know :) Ok..'night all... have a super evening :) Jean My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/4/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 46 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,150 Amount Saved: $471.50 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 6 Mins: 14 Seconds: 4
