Three Years for Penitent!!!

Well, I came here 3 years ago recalcitrant and soon became penitent although deep down I think I have always been recalcitrant! I know that I have always promoted the easy quit here but I have NEVER said that I didn't find it difficult in the early days. It was hard early on but I came here in May 2004 and quit alongside such great people as IDFMOM1, the indomitable SQUEEKY and the delightful LUNA who has become the love of my life and my best friend. We were always striking deals and having fun! Other great quitters of the time who helped me along the way and to whom I will always be eternally grateful include my mentors LIZZIE (the Carshalton Belle) and MELOFGA (Melanie of Georgia - Melanie!!!!!!) and such wonderful peers as BACCARACK (today's MARTHA), KOALA (Boots!!!!) and RACHEL (The Meopham Maid) who trumped the group by turning up here with 200 days already under her belt � thanks RACH!!! I've seen many come and go and some will say that I should have gone with them and that may be so but with me, what you see (or read) is what you get. I have my beliefs, I have my style and I stand my corner � I have done it and nobody can question that. I am happy that I have done this for myself and it has given me great pleasure to help so many others along the way. As Bubba used to say, it ain't bragging if you've done it. Well, I always disagreed with him on that but today, in his memory, I'm bragging - 'cos I've done it!!! Cheers Bubba!
