Having a Rough Day

Hello everyone I am doing much better I have to admitt. I still have moments but not like Sunday when nothing seemed to be working. I will admitt though I am having a great day today!!!!!! I had a few cravings but they are not too bad. I can not return to smoking, this is not an option as per the "Doctor". I did quit for my own reasons and then a week later my test results said NO MORE SMOKING, EVER!!!!!!!!!! I do feel proud of myself but the patch has alot to do with it too. If could go back in time I would never put a smoke in my mouth but I am sure you all feel that way too. Thank god for work it really keeps me busy, especially since it is the end of the month. Anyway enough about me I feel like I am just babbling, how are you guys doing? Jersy ;)

How are things going for you now, Jersy? I know there are rough days in the beginning, but one crave at a time is the way to go. One crave, one hour, and then one day at a time. You CAN do this. Be good to yourself right now. And post often, it really helps. Rootin' for you, Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 74 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,245 Amount Saved: $666 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 9 Mins: 55 Seconds: 45

Jersy, Hang in there now, okay? I did exactly the same way that you're doing. Day 3 was hell but other than that day, I did fine up until around the 14th or 15th day.....Then it was a constant, maddening crave. I promise you though, it won't last but just a few days and little by little, it really DOES get better. While this is going on, rest and sleep as much as you can. Just let your body keep right on healing and keep telling yourself that you're healing throughout those craves. That really is the truth. AND, drink lots and lots of water. It seems like every time I stop drinking as much water, those craves come back more. Hang In There and Keep Posting! You're doing a wonderful job.
