Rough Time

Angel, You WON'T fail so don't even worry about that part of it, okay? I see you're around that infamous 30 day mark where a lot of us have hit a slump. That may be what you're doing right now. Keep telling yourself that this is going to pass. AND IT WILL. Pull out all of the tools you used in the beginning of your quit. You know, water, hard candy, gum, deep/slow breathing, get up and move around, and post and read here as much as you can. This is a rough patch but that's all it is. Don't stress out over it but try to see it for what it is. Keep right on posting and you know we're right here for you. You WILL get through this rough patch too. Beat on a pillow, yell into it. (The pillow) Take ten very deep breaths and ss if it helps. Maybe it is the weekend, maybe its something else (PMS etc) Whatever it is , you've seen others here go thru it. You know it WILL PASS! Read some old posts. I like to read the Joe Cool one when I get a bad craving. There's one calleD "Don't you people get it" in one of the categories right now (SOrry I can't remember which one) that is a good waker upper! Try, try, try. You know that a smoke will not make anything any better! It will just make you feel worse. Smoking is not an option! NOPE! Keep us posted! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 31 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 786 Amount Saved: $327.05 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 19 Mins: 13 Seconds: 48

So I am into my 36th day and the past two days have just been horrible. Not sure if its because i know the long weedend is here, I don't do well on the weekends, or what it is. All I know is the cravings are really stressing me out, I seem really angry and irritable. How can I stop the mood swings. One minute I am fine, the next I want to kill someone or something. Hate this roller coaster. I definately don't want to smoke, even though my head is saying yes you do. I can't fail!!!!!
