'Morning all Ashkicker's ! Well I've woken up this morning with a cold. Hopefully it won't develop into anything major - guess I'll just get lots of rest and do only what needs to be done for the next several days. Oh my Sparky I want those Hershey Sticks.. I need to lose some weight. I'm eating well - healthy foods, lots of exercise etc., but I've packed on 14 lbs. I went to the diet category here and was told not worry right now because this can happen early in the quit - But hey, I just don't like it. I will be patient and if nothing comes off in the next month then I'm going to have to increase my exercise regiment. Your stats look great Sparky ! jeanigirl.. Freedom is THE ticket ...Your attitude shines through :) Loving your stats ! :) Lou glad to hear that your long hours come to an end today :) Enjoy your rest time and loving your stats as well ! Mitch you are becoming a fine example of a non smoker to your work buddies.. good for YOU ! Great stats ! :) Ki - 3 weeks are looking great on you :) Stubz - 2 weeks are amazing huh ? :) APRIL 07 ASHKICKER'S ROCK ! Ok.. well I'm going to do a few things, pop some aspirin and then sit out on the balcony with a hot cup of coffee and rest. Have a super weekend everyone --- Keep strong, keep quit ! Hey All Here in Aus, it the end of day 5 and also Friday. YAH YAH I made it through a working week, working with people who smoke and I still made it. It's amazing too, the amount of smokers who are backing me and constantly asking how I'm going. I might convince a few more to do this yet, by staying strong myself and I promise I haven't lectured them one bit. That's all for now Mitch My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/30/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 83 Amount Saved: $27.2 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 7 Mins: 47 Seconds: 17

Hello everyone! Jean... I am not usually this busy but this week I am teaching a class after work. I do this about once every 6 months. It takes my normal 8 hour day to a 12 hour day. It is only for 1 week though... Tomorrow is the test day, once that is over I have the entire weekend and next week goes back to normal. Thank goodness because I am really tired. Everyone is looking great! Our stats just keep getting better and better! Way to go everyone! I am doing well today seems like each day that passes I have fewer and fewer thoughts of smoking. I never thought I could go a few hours without thinking of one.. much less an entire work shift! I am so thankful that the past week has been good. I needed it to be working so much this week! I know that at any time a craving could creep up on me and I keep that in mind... but freedom sure is nice! Well, gonna go. I am gonna watch a little tv and rest a little. Then head to bed here in a little bit. Take care and keep up the good work everyone!!! Hey Unpacked we ARE quit twins :p And no problem with setting up the Ashkickers in the stats parade - hope more people will go there and show off their accomplishments ! Lou you are one busy gal ! Hope you can take some 'me' time and get some rest - your body really needs it to heal :) You're doing so well .. look at those stats :) Sister, maybe hubby can smoke outside, or in the garage or a designated room in your home ? That might make it easier on you. Going out and buying some personal products is a cool reward.. something I've been doing now for weeks...LOL ! Another beautiful sunny day and have already been out for a long walk. I think I'm going to lay down for a little while today and just rest :p Have a great day all.. We're kickin' ash big time ! Another day under my belt. Having hubby in the house smoking is killing me, but I won't fold under the cravings. I am determined this time. I am a quitter and I will not go back to smoking. I took myself on a little shopping trip tonight and the money I will save on cigarettes is already spent on a few personal items. It feels good and I owe it to me. This is my reward! Well, everyone have a good night and a better tomorrow. Wishing you all well with your quitting.
