Frances,
I'm so sorry I didn't catch this post sooner.
How are you doing now? Have the cravings gone away?
My second week was actually worse than my first week, other than Day 3. On Day 3 and sometime during the second week, I was hit with one craving behind another with little time in between each of them. That was hard but I kept on drinking lots and lots of water, chewing gum, I got myself busy each time a crave would hit, I'd read a lot here and post a lot, and with every crave I reminded myself that my body was healing. That's true too. I even got to where I literally ******d at that crave. This helps because it allows you to get rid of the tension and it puts you in charge.
Please post and let us know how you're doing today. Okay? I do apologize for missing this post.
Hang in there and stay strong.
Tutti

Frances,
First off, congratulations on overcoming that huge craving!
What would you have done had their been a smoke accessible? Having a plan in place for those types of high-risk situations puts you at a lower risk for a slip.
Congrats on 19 days!
Danielle

Frances you made it. Just always be prepared and know that you are stronger than the nicodemon. You are almost at three weeks. Congrats. Something about threes. Three days, three weeks, three months. But keep fighting the good fight by keeping a positive attitude and your faith.

After no cravings for over a week I get hit with an urge so strong I almost threw up. Nothing out of the ordinary was happening...just pow!
I think its mostly passed now but I can't stand those...if the circumstances had been different (i.e. if I had been somewhere where a smoke was easily accessible) it could have all went so badly.
The sneaky cravings are the worst!
