Hi Tutti, First of all: Every one has a bad day now and then, even people who have never smoked so having a bad day has nothing to do with it. Second: You have to realize that is not old Nic who tells you things, it's you, you tell yourself bad things. Read Lainey's post about self talk, that is what you should do, use selftalk. Hang in there, and stay quit.
I want to hear those reasons why we should tolerate these...
1) Because they WILL stop in time 2) Because the only way they will stop is to not smoke 3) Because there will come a day when you can't fully remember how badly a craving actually was (truly) :8|: 4) Because your family deserves the BEST possible you and that is a non-smoking you 5) Because even as a non-smoker, you'll have bad mood swings, the blues and funks of a general nature. But you'll get through those too and you won't be killing yourself in the process. Hang tough Tutti. Are there any good movies on? Maybe a nice bubble bath? Tomorrow is a new day. Cigarettes Not Smoked

Okay, this has been a bad day. Cravings and thought of smoking have been pretty darn bad. Tonight I'm wide awake and still craving. You know, this battle Pi**es me off at times. What, is Nic deaf as a post or something?!!! The old fart just can't get the message and it's a pretty SIMPLE LITTLE EQUATION. Here it is: I Don't smoke!!!....I'm a NON SMOKER!!....I love how much my body has healed so far and it's only going to get better!!.....I have my husband and three children to think of and a grandbaby on the way so I really love being a NON SMOKER and living clean for them. Okay, I really would like to hear a bunch of great reasons that led us all to quit and reasons that we're staying quit. I want to hear those reasons why we should tolerate these sorry a** cravings, not to mention shi**y mood swings, why we should sing the blues from time to time, and flat out be miserable at times. I know the reasons but it helps to hear them all from my friends.....my support family. Okay? So, bring 'em on. Tell me, are we having fun yet? Boo Hoo Hoo Hoo!!!! Huuuuuuuuuuuggggsss!!!
