Hi all, just came from my doctor, she gave me a prescription for Zyban, along with the patch. She said I've been using smoking as a mask for years, so that's why I'm having such a difficult time. I guess being menopausal doesn't help, I'm trying to hang in, taking the kids out for lunch and to buy my son some new shoes. Now that is a good reason to quit, have you seen how much running shoes cost these days?? lol misha My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 7 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 189 Amount Saved: $82.25 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 19 Mins: 12 Seconds: 41

Misha, If it makes you feel any better I'm still struggling too. After almost 2 weeks even! Think of how hard its been for you so far and all the effort you've put in... do you want that to be in vain? Do you want to throw all that away? Thats what keeps me from skoking personally. Also looka t your stats, the money and life saved ect... Hi misha. I smoked for over 50 years. You don,t want to see another list of the reasons why you should quit do you ?? But here,s an exercise you can try.Write down all the benifits of smoking on a piece of paper and then write down all the benifits of not smoking right beside it then you,ll know why your quitting. I noticed your not too long into your quit so don,t be to hard on yourself it takes time to heal from any illness and beleive me addiction is an illness. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 45 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 818 Amount Saved: $450 Life Gained: Days: 10 Hrs: 17 Mins: 38 Seconds: 11

Hi Misja, If you spend all the time you spend on whining spend on positive thinking you would feel way better. You can smoke if you want but you don't want to smoke anymore. Try to think positive and do things you like to do, that keeps your thoughts away from thinking about smoking. All the time you think negative, you will feel bad. That time is over now, you getting healtier and you have more money and you don't smell anymore. Be happy. Hi all, I'm still here, still struggling and still not smoking. So I guess that's a good thing. I still want to smoke and am having a hard time believing that I can't smoke. Hopefully that will change sooner rather than later. Mark I hope you're hanging in there. misha My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 6 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 171 Amount Saved: $70.5 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 17 Mins: 27 Seconds: 50
