babeyblue, i'm not going to lie to you, your will find it tough, cos you need some support - however you get it.. but may i give you some well learned advice... Do not show animosity towards your husband or other smokers for that matter. Always remember that smokers don't have the knowledge or the know how to stop smoking cos in there eyes they are'nt ready & don't want to know. You can not tell a smoker to quit all you can do is show your husband how easy it is for you to stop smoking & how positive & full of life you're becoming from not smoking & he may soon follow. Smoking is addiction to nicotine. My husband is a smoker, and actually became downright hostile when I quit. But like others here, I have a streak of stubbornness...once I make up my mind to do something, no one can stop me! We had some tough times, but things worked out and we still love each other. And, sorry Dutch, I don't agree that smokers are mean people...we were all smokers, that's why we are here...I know that I wasn't mean. I was addicted. Own your own quit. Protect it and make it yours!
