lavndr, I understand. I considered giving up my quit this week because of tensions in my life. Instead, I decided to use the situation as an opportunity to learn how to deal with those tensions without a smoke.
I haven't done that since I was a kid, and that was a long, long time ago. So, it doesn't come naturally. I have to learn how to manage those sorts of problems without resorting to cigarettes... and I can do that. If I could do it when I was 12... I can do it now. :) It just takes some retraining.
Non-smokers deal with these kinds of issues all the time... without a smoke. And that's what I'm becoming; a non-smoker. Little by little, with every new day, with every challenge and circumstance.
