Lookingglass - Congratulations on your 3 days - I know those were tough ones...now it will start to get easier a tiny bit at a time! You mentioned how your plate is piling up and you're getting busier. One of the big things that I've found since quitting (which I did not expect) was how much more time I now have during the day. I never truly realized how much time I wasted each day related to smoking - the time spent on: smoke breaks, going to the store to buy smokes, looking for matches/lighter/ashtray, emptying the ashtray, washing my hands after smoking, plotting when I'd have my next smoke, etc. So, while my schedule has also been fuller & my plate has been piling up and up lately, it's actually been less busy as I have more time to do things. This makes me less frantic/rushed, which makes me less stressed, etc. Just something to think about & acknowledge! Keep up your great job of being a non-smoker! Good morning and Congratulations on your smoke free days. I found the first 3 days the hardest but it does get so much better after that, hang in there, youare doing awesome. Read and post here all you can and remember to take care of you. Baby yourself, treat yourself as if you have the flu, put on comfy jammies and curl up with some comfort food and just enjoy your smoke free days. or.......... Start cleaning your house, car etc and get rid of the smoke smell. Those are 2 things I done to help get me through and it worked!!! Its not easy but its worth it!!
