Worried about depression

I'm with you whynot. I know you dont want to but you have to see your doctor. You will not get the help you need unless you ask for it. Try a differnet med, there are lots of options. You need support. I have just been diagnosed with depression after struggling with quitting. Now It has become obvious why I have had so much trouble quitting in the past. You know that this depression is not going to go away by itself. please reach out..you can be quit and happy at the same time. Shirl said exactly what I was going to say. Sometimes it's time to switch to a different med...just know that many of us live with chemical depression and quitting smoking seemed to exacerbate it. There is no shame in it at all. We understand that there times when a smile doesn't make a good umbrella and there's more help needed. Please rethink seeing a doctor or professional when you can. Whynot, There is a lot of good support here! Do try our sister site at www.depressioncenter.net, this can be very helpful with knowledge and a program that you can use, while you are waiting to see a doctor. Take the Depression test and show it to your doctor, this can help better assess the situation for you both. Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
