Hey, Cap'n: Methinks you have confused me with JT, as I am the one who told you that I would not caddy for you, but would indeed play, as I am a golf nut myself. It is my most favorite outdoor activity and I have been playing for many years. I'm a lefty, though, and play lefty, so do watch out and don't think I'm facing the last green instead of the current fairway.
I am thrilled you got through your casino tests -- tough ones, all. I know this because I had to quit gambling a couple of years ago -- getting addicted (gee, now THERE'S a surprise) and moving toward dangerous waters. I realized that I had to change this or suffer serious consequences. So, I conquered that one and frankly that gave me the confidence to tackle my other serious addiction of smoking.
I probably shouldn't have attempted this, but about a month ago, I went to a local casino to test both addictions. Fortunately, I did great -- I gambled just a tiny bit, found that I wasn't really enjoying myself the way I used to, and found the smell of smokers all around me was gross. Needless to say, I didn't stick around for long and was VERY pleased with myself for passing these two huge tests. I do obviously have an addictive personality and worry a bit about what may be next (could it be: chocolate?? wine??)
Anyway, on to Barbados and Martinique??!! Whoooooeeeeeee! I KNOW they'll have some lovely courses there -- I'll shine up my clubs and bring along my specially designed cooler for the wine and chocolate. FORE!!!
I'm staying onboard ship today to rest and relax and wait for my crazy female shipmates to return from their grand NASCAR adventure. I can't wait to hear details!
Keep the faith
