Jane -
I can definitely relate! I'm finding that my obsession about smoking - thinking about it every single minute, is starting to include a second target...obsessing about food. I now think about/plot my next snack/meal the way I use to plot my next smoke. Uh Oh!!! I'm trying to keep what I eat healthy...but, I can feel the weight adding on every day (either that or the clothes fairy has shrunk all of my clothes!).
But, I'm still early in my quit, and am focusing on getting through each day as a non-smoker, so I'm not going to let myself get too hysterical about my weight (not quite yet anyway!)

jane,
You seem to have a handle on the issue and what your addictions are. Why not over eat veggies? Use these as snack foods. Try checking with your doctor to come up with a plan that is right for your lifestyle and your body.
You are looking great at 33 days :)
