Shortcake WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!! Soooo Proud of You You will be glad you did this, and yes... Apolgize to your friends, co-workers and family for your grouchiness... You will get over this period very soon. When a trigger nudges a Crave...stop..breathe..think (where is this coming from?) What triggered this? Your brain ( :eg:) is going to get the message loud and clear...everytime you face this trigger head on instead of lighting up. Pretty soon, those old triggers are going to get farther and farther apart. You will replace them with positive, mature thoughts! auntdeb :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 46 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,333 Amount Saved: $218.5 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 10 Mins: 9 Seconds: 20

Shortcake, Although we recommend that you follow the full course of NRT treatment, we support you in your decision to step down early. Congratulations! You are officially nicotine free and have every right to be proud! Danielle ____________________ The SSC Support Team

you are on your way now.....I say hang tough....couple more days and you should realize that you WILL make it. Just remember that this is a "choice"....just don't light up. Once you head down the cold turkey path, I personally believe in sticking with it. Nicotine leaves your system relatively quickly actually.....putting it back in at this point is just gonna confuse your body.....I guess what I mean is pick a path and then stay on it. NRT or not....just stick with the horse you are on.
