Hi Monica,
You get all there is it seems but you can be proud of yourself for handling the situation. I think about you a lot and you and your husband are in my prayers. Hang in there girl, you're strong enough to do that. I wish I could help you in any way but I can't.
Lots of love, Dutch xxxxxxx

I have been in awe of you since day 1---your first post! I wish we could bottle your strength, faith and attitude. The world would be perfect with a lot more Monica's! :)
I cut up and come across as crass and crude at times, but I have some strong religious convictions and I often throw a 'bless Monica and her sweetie' into my prayers.
Although I do not post as much as I once did, please know I atleast check in almost daily. I think about you a lot. I hope I can be as gracious as you if in the same situation. Yes, I have been struggling for a word for your quit, and I believe it is 'graceful'. (((hugs)))

Monica58,
Thanks for checking in. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do for your husband except continue to be supportive. He has to work through this on his own and you're right, you have to work through your adjustment too.
I cannot praise you enough for the strength you have demonstrated over the few months. You're truly an inspiration to us all!
Danielle

Monica,
Thanks for checking in! We are happy to hear you are still smoke free and that your husband is doing well.
Having him come home will present some challenges but just like everything else, you have to take it one step at a time.

Monica,
Thanks for checkin in. You are doing beautifully! Those mini breaks are important so be sure to keep up with them as best you can. Also try to sneak in a reward for your thirty days!

Monica,
I'm sorry to hear your husband is not doing well.
I know this must be starting to wear on you physically & mentally and am so proud of you for staying so strong both in your quit and your life.
You may want to talk to a social worker when your at the hospital. You may be able to get some respite help. This will give you a chance to be kind to yourself and reward yourself for continuing to persevere through this difficult time.
You'll be in our thoughts.
Keep close, stay strong.
Danielle
