Roe, Ok do it with me... Breathe in, 1..2..3.. breath out, 1...2...3 Quitting can be tough but the withdrawals and cravings pass! Start working through the online quit program and arm yourself with knowledge. Read through our forums and learn from others experiences. As Sparky said, also be sure to introduce yourself in the introduce yourself forum so that we may give you the proper welcome and support you deserve. Roe, you will be fine. Just take your time and prepare. Come here and read the post and you post to let us know how you are doing. There are many things out there to aid you in your quit. Maybe talk to your doctor about it. If you read the post you will find how other have quit. I wish you best. Quitting is the best gift you can give your self. Start a list of reason why you want to quit. Change where you smoke. A good place it outside. Go to place where you can't smoke. Steps, it is all about steps and preparing. Good luck, Roe My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/11/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 37 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 378 Amount Saved: $111 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 2 Mins: 42 Seconds: 8

you have all gotten through Hell Week....just hang on. There will be better days coming. One usually comes along about the time you think you can take no more. Try to find things that will "majorily distract" you from letting that junky do any thinking in YOUR head. Drive him out and away. Remember that YOU are the one who must stay in control. Think of him as the enemy! Trying to find a way to ambush you. Dig in and fight back!!! just remember....winning is a simple as NOT lighting up. smoking is NOT an option Kick ASH!!!
