Keep up the battle Marg - It does get better! The battle is different for everybody but eventually the cravings do diminish. You may want to read "The Easy Way to Quit" by Alan Carr (which helps us to look at our addiction realistically). Cravings are lessened the more we switch up our routines (walks, gym, crosswords, knitting, posting on SCC) and the more we use our tools (cinnamon gum, lots of water, green tea, sour candies, etc) If coffee is a trigger switch to tea or drink it in a different location. You are doing great - Hell week is almost over! Marg, Each crave you make it through makes you that much stronger for the next. As time goes on, the quit gets so much easier. Hang on each time you feel like this. Do something to distract yourself and wait for it to pass. You are doing great. Congratulations on making it through hell week!
