What are you scared of... getting ****ty for a while! Sounds like you need to swat up cos if your'e wavering now, just wait in a couple of days !. toughen up! it's not the end of the world. If you want to think of something gross.... imagine yourself lying in a hospital bed with tubes sticking out of your head, half your lung cut out & having to tell your loved ones you have lung cancer from smoking.. Does it for me everytime. Cigarettes Not Smoked

I think it was Shevie who wrote a post about that last couple of cigarettes. Really focus on them, focus on those 4,000 chemicals going into your lungs and into your blood stream, and coating your insides and sticking to your skin. Put a kleenex in front of your mouth when you exhale and see how brown and gross it turns. Get another kleenex and wipe it on the screen of your television set or your windshield or somewhere where you smoke. Then, sit down and write down all the reasons you are quitting...NOT giving up...but stopping this nasty vile habit that will kill you and give your son asthma. I understand that you are afraid. We all were. But do it one cigarette at a time...just don't smoke the next one. Yes, you will feel crummy for a few days...but nothing like childbirth or a root canal or chemotherapy. Keep your resolve! You can do it! Oh yea, get rid of any cigarettes, butts, ashtrays or other paraphernalia.
