Calorie intake is up and down like a yo yo....I got a recipee for vegetarian chilli and I can eat tons of it with hardly any calories...yet something else and I go off the charts. Today - 1095 calories 56.2% carbs 22% proteins 21.7 % fats cardio class, weights and ab class plus 15 extra minutes on the treadmill (to make up for the weight I'm going to gain this weekend) Windy My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/11/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 142 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,855 Amount Saved: $710 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 21 Mins: 45 Seconds: 21

Well - As always, I'm bass-ackwards - for the most part my carbs are pretty high but I have cut alot of fats out of my diet. My Supervisor made lunch today and it was sooooooooooooooo good, I had seconds (Ooops!) I only had a fruit smoothy for supper and I still went over. Calories - 1601 53.6 carbs 14.9 protein 31.5 fat (kinda high there today too) No gym today but up and at em tomorrow! I was trying to be soooooo good this week so I could be bad on the weekend. Well - It appears that I am a heavy eater and that calorie counting is very hard for me to do if I don't make the food myself. Today there was no time to go home for lunch so I opted for drive through where they made fresh sandwiches (which I discovered added up to more calories than a burger) Today, I came home to find a delicious supper on my counter (I have great neighbours) but I went over: Calories - 1723 carbs - 47.1% fat - 35.8 % protein - 17.1 % Every night, I come home and calculate my calories and if I'm under 1500, I get a fruit smoothy but.........no fruit smoothy for me tonight. I did go to the gym though - 30 mins treadmill, 15 mins cross trainer and 15 minutes bicycle.. I just might be sleep walking tonight - I love my fruit smoothies at the end of the day! 02-09 Over on the calories again today - Can't blame it on anybody but myself. (If I was willing to give up my fruit smoothy, I'd be okay...but I figure I earned it) Today - 1610 calories 56.4 % carbs 18.8 % fat 24.8 % protein (including my smoothie) Went to gym to get victimized by the fitness instructor for an hour and did 20 minutes on the treadmill - She gave the other gal lighter weights so I asked if she just gave the heavy weights to whiners (Apparently she does!) Missthing - You made my day! (I guess I'm not the only one who is bad) (Hmmm..perhaps we will have to lock our fridges at night) I was pleasantly baffled this morning when I went to the gym as it appears that my weight is the same as last week - I have no idea how that happened??? It does make me happy to think that after I have lost the extra weight, I may be able to cheat on a regular basis with no consequences....also makes me wonder if my metabolism is getting back to where it was??? Today I am going through withdrawal....I ate my broccoli, my spinach and my fruit but I was dreaming of white wine, breakfast sandwiches and mashed potatoes.... Calories - 1479 56.3 % carbs 26.6 % protein 17.1 % fat 25 mins running on treadmill, 10 minutes on that nasty stair machine and 15 mins of killer ab class (I booked a personal training session with abs teacher and am beginning to think that I MUST have self-destructive tendencies....she brutalizes me! Well - I haven't weighed myself yet so I won't start crying until tomorrow. Not only did I go away for Saturday night but I got stormed away until today....Since Saturday, I have not exercised once...I've eaten potato chips, drank wine, ate mashed potatos and gravy, breakfast sandwiches - you name it! YOWZA - By my calculations I will gained at least 2 lbs (The gym is closed today due to weather so there won't be a chance to take any of it off) On the plus side - Had lots of fun. On the negative side, I can see that I have replaced smoking with eating especially when drinking and socializing....if there aren't healthy choices available...I haven't developed the willpower to eat small portions (or not eat at all). If I get back on track this week, hopefully the extra 2 lbs will come back off...I am back to a healthy weight so perhaps cheating on getaways will just be one of those things that I'm not going to worry about right now.
