Hi, Healer. Congratulations on 300 days of freedom.
I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I can feel the love you have for her, and I can tell how much you miss her. It's in your words.
You said she fought the good fight and lost. I'd like to share a point of view I have on that subject, if I may. In my opinion, regardless of the outcome, no one who fights loses. They may be overwhelmed, the opponent may be victorious, but the true fighter never loses, not where it really counts, in the spirit. Perhaps this is a silly play on syntax I have, but it works and it feels quite honest for me. If it works for you, you are welcome to it.
I hope the New Year brings you health, happiness, and prosperity, Healer. Thank you for all you've done here. You have no idea how far you have reached. :)
Shevie
