Hi Jan - every journey begins with a first step, right? I'm glad to see you walking with us. We are all still baby stepping along, but there is power in numbers. BTW I love your idea of the frozen meals. I'm still trying to figure out what to make tonight. :confuse: August My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/10/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 6 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 167 Amount Saved: $30 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 13 Mins: 27 Seconds: 44

Nice to see you Penguin and Cuddles! Penguin- I guess your stats aren't zero any more right?! See how quickly they add up? Just for today, we won't smoke. The stats will take care of themselves. Cuddles - That's the spirit we need around here! Life is good as a non-smoker. Jump up, jump up and get down! I know there are more of you out there. Come on and jump on the October Haywagon. I promise it will be the best thing you have ever done! August

Hello Fellow October Quitters! We are halfway through the month and I have noticed quite a few of us starting (or restarting) our quit journeys in October. I figured I would start a thread for us to get to know who has similar quit dates. So come on, lets see a show of hands. Nice and high now, wave them around. We are blessed to be quitting in October. The crisp cool fall air feels great as our lungs clean out. The smell of pumpkin spices and cider, yup we can smell them this year. Plus we can look forward to staying in by the cozy fire when things get really cold, we dont have to go out in the freezing temps to get our fix! Lets start this journey as a united front against the nicodemon! Whos with me?
