Dunedad,
Be careful with that!!! Substituting one addiction for another is VERY common, so if you find yourself drinking more, especially starting early and then going later, keep a watchful eye on that! You might also want to check out the SSC's sister site for alcohol addiction and take the survey there to see if you think you might have a problem. You can access that site from the main page on the left hand side of the screen. I completely understand about only dealing with one vice at a time, but you also don't want an alcohol problem to get so bad that it gets out of control! Just be careful. Maybe set a limit and stick to it... and if you find it hard to stick to your limits, then definitely check out the sister site for alcohol addictions! You will find some good tips there to help you. It might not be necessary to quit altogether... I don't know since I'm not an expert as far as alcohol addiction goes, but again, just be careful!!! I've known TOOOOOOOO many people to substitute one addiction for another and end up with a BIGGER problem with the second addiction!
Crave the Quit!
