The "nearly" one year post from the Mad Englishman.........

18 years ago 0 5195 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
The Mad Englishman returns. One of my favorite story tellers of all times. Especially this one. Your story of success. Congratulations on your great achievement. Surely, you have an amazing adventure planned to celebrate this milestone. You have brought a lot of laughter to these boards and won't be forgotten. You always seem to pop up out of no where when I am down with something funny to say, a reminder of some sort, or even a quick hello. Seeing your name on the boards always cheers me up for I remember you stroking my feathers and it puts a smile on my face. Approaching the top of Quit Mountain is quite remarkable as I'm sure you are finding out for yourself. I actually stood on a mountain top all alone on the morning of my one year anniversary and looked down at beautiful scenery. I thought of all those that had helped me achieve the milestone and all it took to make the climb. A moment I don't think I will ever forget. Make sure you do something memorable on that day. Congratulations again! Lady :) PS.. How did you know I love Simon and Garfunkle? Brent, True to who you are, that was a brilliant 1 year ramble! You are an outstanding and exceptional humorist here at the SSC. The wit with which you use to convey your message is simple and effective. I believe that due in large part to your delivery, many people have found motivation and support in your posts. You have a wonderful talent in story telling. Thank you for being here with me my friend. You are about to reach the peak of Quit Mountain (as Lady stated) and it should be a day of celebration for you! Life is good up here and it's great to be free of that rotten addiction! Continued best wishes and success in all your endeavors. And no I won't lend you my pink slippers!! You'll have to get your own! ;p [b][color=Purple]Be Strong. Be Smart. As usual a truly amazing post Sir Brent and I thank you. You have marched to the drum roll up the steep mountain called The Quit and never faltered. I congratulate you sir on your fine achievement and the determination that you have displayed. I have a great fondness for you folks in the United Kingdom it may be because I have family roots going back to Robert de Sempill as far back as 1242. I wish you continued success and hope that the new quitters will take the time to go read your posts, they are great.
