A big thumbs up to you quitters over 60. My 76 year old mom had cancer surgery last Thursday and has been smoke free for 7 days!!I'm so proud of her, smoked since she was in her early teens. I'll march in the parade on her behalf(she doesn't get around too well, kind of hobbles with a cane). Congrats to everyone, Trudy :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/21/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 274 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,315 Amount Saved: $819.26 Life Gained: Days: 29 Hrs: 22 Mins: 55 Seconds: 20

This is Happy and I'm happy I quit. I'm 63 years old and have smoked for 21 years. I started when I was 41 which was stupid, stupid. I thought I could have a cig just every now and then but pretty soon I was a full blown cig addict. O'l nicodemon took hold. I'm now a non-smoker and will stay that way. Today is my 3 weeks and I'm still holding on. Can't wait until I make it 3 months, as that is when I usually go back. I know I won't this time. N.O.P.E.
