PS: coping skills... we need healthy coping skills, friends. How do we handle it when faced with a challenge? Do we know when to let go and move on? Are we willing to let go of all attachments so we can get ourselves back in our own power and in the present moment, or are we attached to judgment, to being right...? What we do in life - how we live each day, especially how we handle conflict, will mirror what our Quit journey looks like, friends! Coping skills keep you strong, focused and Quit!! So build your toolbox of coping skills for your Quit journey and take it with you each moment! Blessings and Light- Healer
I couldn't agree more! Hi stickin - Great, empowering and simple :) I did it all cold turkey, with no plan, and no slips... Just goes to show ya that what we ((really)) have to come to the Quit with a stronger desire to Quit than to light up ~ and N.O.P.E. (not one puff ever)... these two powerful factors make for a forever Quit!! Staying in the moment and not worrying about what will be - what we will face, can we do it... etc... is absolutely empowering.... Have the self-confidence that no matter what comes up, you CAN handle it... ~ and you will!! Distractions kept me Quit and focused... and allowing whatever comes up to deal with, to feel and to heal, enables us to grow, and to move on to a healthier life in many ways... Great thread, friend - thanks and blessings!!
