Now I'm really going for it, I'm eating Cheetos with a diet coke, do you know how many calories in 37 pieces of Cheetos :270 calories, I'm going through the whole bag. I can't get rid of this empty feeling. Yarky day, I feel so blah, went to the gym it was hard, came home feel so tired. Work sucks.. I feel like crying, I don't know what the h... is going on with me. I haven't felt like this for about 50 days I would say since I hit 100 on the meter. I'm usually a positive person I make the best of things, I don't look back, but today I feel like hiding from the world. Just sharing, thinking it might help... Hope I don't get anybody down with me ...PS I'm not thinking about the weed so please don't tell me not to smoke cause I won't, it's not an option anymore. blah blah blah One day at a time Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 143 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,153 Amount Saved: $572 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 22 Mins: 20 Seconds: 13

Hang tight Marie as this too shall pass. I promise things will get better. We have all been there and alot of us will still have to go therer again and again. Remeber it's the roller coaster ride. No specific course as everyone is different yet all the same. You're a smart cookie so I know you'll get through it. Stay strong and remember you are not alone! My turn, Marie! Lay your head in my lap and I'll stroke your hair and tell you it will all be better in the morning :) Because...it WILL all be better in the morning. You watch and see! So what kind of movie is it? A sappy love story? An action adventure? Something creepy and scary? Pop some popcorn, grab a soda, curl up on the couch and see if you can make it to the end of the movie (I never can when I get like that-fall asleep, which is obviously what I needed). And, above all, remember this: One day at a time! :) Love Ya! Marie, Find new outlets for your emotions and reward yourself for staying smoke free. It's time to develop new coping mechanisms! You can do it! Deep breaths and a few minutes to yourself when your feeling overwhelmed. Danielle __________________________ The SSC Support Team

Dear Marie Yep, this is a process.....a trip. Some days the process is harder to deal with then others. I know EXACTLY what you mean when you say "don't tell me not to smoke, I won't". The blahs are a new feeling for most of us since we used to believe smoking took the blahs away. You and I both know that its part of the "pack of lies" we knew back then. Soooooo.....for today.........hug your doggie.........walk on the beach....long bath with candles.........cobenfan likes getting her nails done. Hang in there marie. Glad you came here to your quit family! We love ya girl! Marie.. I've had a lot of blah days too. Sometimes we just need to take time out for ourselves. I remember staying home from work or staying home on the weekend and just kind of laying around, watching TV, taking it easy. I called this a reward because it was what I really felt like doing. Don't let it get to you. That being said, if you find that you have more and more days like this, please talk to your doctor about it. Smoking does mask a lot of other problems that we could have and your doctor can help you work through them. For that occassional blah day, give into it and just be blah. There isn't a thing wrong with that and it might do you some good. Hope you feel better soon.
