Fish, There is nothing like watching someone come to this site fighting for their lives and then seeing them make it to the other side. The side of freedom, the top of quit mountain. Those of us that have been there know the feeling that cannot be put into words. About all I know to say is job well done. Whenever tough days come your way, remember the pride you feel now and hold on to it. The quit is so worth it! Congratulations and thank you for such an inspiring awesome post! Aww, Fish. You've fought the good fight and have won with honor and dignity. What an awesome post, so full of insight and personal truths. You speak of the fire in your eyes. I'd like for you to find a photo of you from when you smoked. A good shot of your face looking at the camera with your eyes easily seen. Compare the look in your eyes with one from today, or recently since you quit. I've done that with myself and others. What I see is a cloud over the "windows to the soul" on the photo from the smoking era, but a clear sparkle in one from the quit. Another example of the damage and subversive effects of nicotine addiction. I am so proud of you, Fish. You have displayed exemplary courage and determination in your battle to freedom. Enjoy it. It is yours. Keep up the great quit.
