Day Eleven

17 years ago 0 61 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi everyone, Thank you for the support. This is still day eleven and I'm feeling great. My wife, son and I went to Swiss Chalet. I know I make reference to food a lot in my posts but I'd recommend Swiss Chalet to anyone who has made it past day four. I got steak, vegetables, and potatoes with gravy. You have to try it. It's amazing. Actually it was amazing before I quit but now it's heaven. Just for the record I'm actually a skinny guy for all this talk of food. Good luck to all of you on another successful day. Joe,

Hi all, 18 minutes after 12:00 and it's day eleven. Wow! It's been so long. I know there are many here that have me beat but wow I'm am so happy. I am now getting what I call "Poke Cravings." Every few hours I will get a c'mon type feeling which usually only lasts a couple of minutes. The cravings are kind of a joke now. Ha Ha I'm winning, the demon is getting weaker.

Day eleven is fantastic, and don't compare yourself to those who have quit longer...they just cleared the path for us, and I am so thankful for them taking the lead. Keep up the great work, and "pok" the cravings back! The poke craving..I like it ...It works. I know what you mean. One thing I found in my pre-quit diary is I smoke like clockwork, every 2 hours a trigger went off saying "it's time". That is the trigger I work through and laugh at as well. You are doing great, Keep it up!!
