Here come the blues.......

Don't forget Windy, you got the blues when you smoked, too, smoking does not solve anything. Sometimes new quitters blame every negative mood/emotion on the quit completely forgetting that life was no bowl of cherries when you were puffing your brains out. You could go visit a friend, manicure/ pedi is always a favorite, go to the mall, spend some of that extra cash you have now you're not buying that stinky little bundle of plant and chemical material you used to poke in the middle of your face and set on fire!!!! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 456 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 9,131 Amount Saved: $2280 Life Gained: Days: 60 Hrs: 5 Mins: 5 Seconds: 6

Hi Windy. That "alone" time can be something else. I'm always anxious to get some of that precious "me" time but then there are times that when it gets here I find myself in a funk. I think it's because I'm so busy all the time and then when everyone is gone it is almost like the world stops and I'm alone with my thoughts. Uh Oh...don't leave me there! :p You aren't alone. Plan some kind of activity. How about a new hobby that wouldn't be a trigger? Jig Zaq puzzle? Some kind of needle work? There are all kinds of things that you can do to occupy your mind. Don't just sit and think. Hang in there. You will enjoy the alone time again soon.
