Those That Try Again

I just want to say that I think those of you that quit smoking and relapse and come back and quit again are awesome! It is a true sign of the character you have within yourselves. You have the courage to try again and not let this horrible addiction beat you. For some, quitting takes practice. If you are one of these people, please hang on for dear life. If you don't light that next cigarette you have got it made. I know it is hard. It was hard for me too. I can't even count all the times I tried to quit. I saw a fellow quitter on here posting "Scream at the Junkie" and it made me smile. This person that I had helped was using the same words to help someone else. Everyone on this site has something to give. You never know who you are encouraging when you post of your experiences along this journey. You never know the lives you touch or the inspiration you provide. You just may say something that will change the life of someone. You may not even know it but the person you help knows it. I know a lot of people try and try again. I want to give a special Kudos to Cuddles, Zany, and Penquin. The three of you are very special to me and you inspire me. I will keep watching for your success because I know you are going to achieve the ultimate goal. Congratulations to all of you that have the courage to try again. Great post, Lady, and very true. I, too, am in great admiration of a fighter. Freedom is there, never give up. Keep up the great quits, everyone. :) Shevie My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 522 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 10,456 Amount Saved: $1983.6 Life Gained: Days: 97 Hrs: 11 Mins: 7 Seconds: 34

Lady, Thank you for this support! We are always here to support and assist, never to judge. If you have tried more than once, then this is commendable :) Post often and see the difference the site and its members can make :) Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
