Having a OFF DAY

If you're feeling like things are all pent up inside you there are a couple of things you might try. One thing you can do right away is go beat the stuffing out of a pillow or two. Warn anyone in the house, first. Then just beat up a pillow and scream and cuss and whatever, just to let it all out. Foam pillows are the best because they provide better and more consistent cushioning. Feather pillows are the worst because the feathers move out of the way and the little pointy ends can feel like a needle if you hit one. The second requires a bit of planning. Go to thrift stores and yard sales to stock up on the cheapest breakable dinnerware you can find. Then get a large box, say, 2 foot on all sides. When the urge takes you just set the box out in the driveway and smash dishes into it. The box makes cleanup easy. Keep up the good quit, Jeanigirl. Go buy dishes at a garage sale and throw them at a tree. This sounds soo silly, but someone suggested it to me during my quit and oh how satisfying it was!! Tree didn't like it much, but it helped ME during those months when I wondered if I would EVER EVER feel like me again.
