Hot tears are running down my face as I write this message. I just wanted to say that cancer is claiming my dear friend and quit mentor. I worked for this man for 10 years and consider him one of my nearest and dearest friends. He quit smoking 4.5 years ago.......retired this July....took sick in August and has now been given 2-3 weeks to live. I feel like my heart is being ripped out. He is such a good man and he was my inspiration to quit - I figured if that crusty old bugger could quit - so could I. Now all I can think of is if he is dying.....so can I. I hate smoking soooooooo much. How dare those things take my friend from me.
