WEEKEND IS SNEAKING UP AND NOT LIKING THIS FEELING....

cheermom - You said it yourself - that is the idiot Nicdemon talking in your ear - Bust him out of there! Bash him in the head with a baseball bat. If you know you will want to smoke at the bar - then don't go to the bar! You have come so far to turn back now. Your husband licked his lips? Doesn't he realize all that second hand nicotine just swooshed into his system? Take yourself out of the situation. At 65 days the nicdemon is really going and try and get you to turn back. He is losing you! and he is going to fight to get you back. But I know that you are strong...you are doing this for your children and most of all for yourself. You will live a much longer, healthier life without those nasty things. I am proud of you for your 65 days - Reward yourself! Buy something that smells really nice...not something that stinks! Cheermom... I didn't see you on the weekend promise. Make the commitment and stick to it. You have come too far to turn back now. Dig deep, stay strong... you can do this. You want to be quit more than you want to smoke. I know you do. I'll be around if you want to chat. Kick, scream, cry but no smoking allowed. I sent you a message earlier. I hope you got it. You are not alone Cheermom. Reach out for help if you need it. Do not give up on your quit. You have worked very hard for it and we all know you don't want to go back to the enslavement of smoking. I am sorry I'm not here during the day. I would be right there on the IM with you. But know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am still checking my email during the day. I hope you are feeling better soon. Keep taking deep breaths and don't hesitate to call me if you need me. I really don't mind! I've been there. I know how alone you can feel. Smoking will not help but someone to talk to will. Big Hugs coming your way. SNAP OUT OF IT! You don't smoke. No exceptions. Do you know how bad you'll feel if you cave at this point? Do you really want to go there? Of course you don't. Take a deep breath and FORGET ABOUT THE SMOKES. Close the damn door on the crave. Don't even entertain the thought for one more second. Tell yourself right now - THERE IS NO WAY I WILL GIVE IN - and make it go away. Mind over matter. If that freakin nicodemon thinks there is the slightest chance it'll hang around and tempt you. Let it know there is no chance. GET YOUR HEAD RIGHT! YOU DON'T SMOKE! OTHER PEOPLE DO, BUT NOT YOU! My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 157 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,515 Amount Saved: $1334.5 Life Gained: Days: 25 Hrs: 13 Mins: 13 Seconds: 13

Cheer, Grab those coping mechanisms and push those craves away. The nicodemon wants a second chance and you will certainly not give it to him! Keep busy and have your straw or hard candy nearby to help curb those pesky craves. We are always here and know that we are proud of your 65 days! Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
