Hi Carla - I AM SO HAPPY TO "See" you. I am so sorry about your relationship coming to an end, but am so happy you maintained your quit. It's sad when people leave us and things end, but it also opens up new opportunities we may not have been given. Extra hugs for you and your child. I know how hard it is to be a single mom, hang in there sweetie. Sorry about your breakup but so proud you didn't give in to the Nic. Just think of it this way you quit smoking you can do anything. You have more money without the cig expense. Try to think of a neat reward that you can give yourself without spending much or any money. And post here to let us know whats new. judy My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 225 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,872 Amount Saved: $450 Life Gained: Days: 32 Hrs: 11 Mins: 35 Seconds: 23

NascarFan, This is one of those situations that don't happen every day although, we're pretty well guaranteed that if we keep living life, an emotional stress is bound to come around sooner or later. All we can do is have our coping skills and be ready for the tests... and you were. That's something you should feel very proud of. As for the rest... his loss right? {{Hugs}} You seem strong... keep hanging in there "This too shall pass" :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/2/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 620 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 12,413 Amount Saved: $2213.4 Life Gained: Days: 65 Hrs: 17 Mins: 16 Seconds: 47

NascarFan, Congrats on your 153 days and thanks for coming back and sharing with us all. I'm so sorry that things didn't work out and just like your first few days of smoking, just take it one day or hour at a time. Certainly you have proved your strength and if you can quit smoking you can do anything! Stay close.
